Bean has had an interesting season. He emerged at the start of the seasoon as our starting catcher and captain but soon lost both positions in what can best be described as a learning experience for him. Bean scuffled through the first few games, but once he found his home, which came to be third base, he settled down nicely and broke out as one of our most threatening hitters. Bean has grown and progressed in leaps and bounds this season. He has all the tools and physical abilities to become one of Logan High's best baseball players in the years to come. I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching him for he has taught me a lot about what it means to be a coach and a leader.
